Founded in 1842 in the Kyotango region of Kyoto Prefecture, Kinoshita Brewery draws its name Tamagawa from a nearby river translated as Jewel River. Under the guidance of master brewer Philip Harper, the brewery is known for bold, umami-forward profiles and a philosophy of producing sake that rewards aging, with a wide expression across temperatures from ice-cold to piping hot. Limited-edition unpasteurized, unfiltered, undiluted releases are shipped fresh each winter brewing season.
