1832
Founded (Tenpo 3) when the first-generation head, Heishiro, started a sake yeast mash (moto) production business.
1854
Began full sake brewing (Ansei 1).
1855
The sake presented to Lord Sakai of the Shonai domain during his visit was highly praised, and the brand was named 'Tatenokawa' (Ansei 2).
1962
Incorporated as a company (Showa 37, November 22).
