Takizawa is brewed by Shinshu Meijo, a brewery with around 150 years of history in Ueda, Nagano Prefecture, where master brewer Kudo Arimichi brings more than 30 years of expertise to each batch. The brand uses Miyamanishiki rice sourced through direct contracts with local Nagano farmers and water filtered naturally through obsidian, one of the softest brewing waters in Japan. Designed to celebrate the character of Nagano, the range balances high aromatic expression with a bolder body and elevated acidity suited to the modern palate.
