Sensuke

Izumi Sake Brewery was founded in 1756 in Higashinada, Kobe, at the heart of the celebrated Nada brewing district, but ceased operations after the 1995 Great Hanshin Earthquake and resumed after an eleven-year hiatus. The Sensuke brand, the brewery's premium revival line, is made using 100% Hyogo Prefecture Yamada Nishiki and brewed under the guidance of a Tamba Toji, combining Nada's historical craft traditions with fresh energy from a younger generation of brewers. Sensuke expressions are known for a nose reminiscent of Japanese pear, soft mouthfeel, and a transparent richness that reflects the renewed ambition the brewery brought back with its reopening.
