Sanzen

Kikuchi Sake Brewing, established in 1878 in the Tamashima area of Kurashiki, Okayama Prefecture, produces Sanzen, a name meaning brilliance and chosen to represent the brewery's highest aspirations. The brewery uses water from the Takahashi River valley and superior local rice, and its brewer Azuma Kikuchi, who also serves as conductor of the Kurashiki City Symphony Orchestra, plays Mozart during fermentation for both the Sanzen range and a line brewed with rice from Akinori Kimura's pesticide-free natural cultivation method. Sanzen has won sake awards in Japan and internationally, and the brewery's stated ideal is a delicious and crisp sake that one won't forget after drinking it just once.
