Yoshidagura u

Yoshida Sake Brewery, located in Hakusan City, Ishikawa Prefecture at the foot of Mount Hakusan, launched the Yoshidagura u label in 2021 as a distinct brand from its century-old Tedorigawa line. The u character carries the dual meaning of gentle (優) and the English you, signaling a sake crafted with consideration for nature, people, and cuisine. Built on a modern yamahai method free from added lactic acid or enzymes, the range uses stone rice cultivated by roughly 30 contracted local farming families and mineral-rich Hakusan snowmelt water, with one yen per bottle donated to environmental conservation.
