Suiryu

Kubohonkeshuzo was established in 1702 in Nara Prefecture's Uda City by founder Kubo Kanbe, who came from Yoshino during the Genroku era of the Edo period. The Suiryu brand, whose name means sleeping dragon, is one of the brewery's signature lines and is known for powerful, dry sake with a strong body and refreshing acidity, aged for several years in the cellar. With over 300 years of unbroken operation, the brewery specializes in long-term aged sake, with some bottles resting in the cellar for more than a decade.
