Sodebijin

Nomura Jozo Co., Ltd., founded in 1897 in Joso City, Ibaraki Prefecture, sits between the Kogai and Kinugawa rivers with Mount Tsukuba visible in the distance, a setting that shapes both the brewery's character and its water source from the Tsukuba Mountains. The brewery produces its sake with spring water and locally grown rice varieties including Yamada-Nishiki and Hitanishiki, pursuing a silky, soft, and food-compatible style. Sodebijin is one of two main brands at Nomura Jozo, representing the brewery's premium expression alongside Tsumugibijin.
