Nanakamba

Hikami Seishu, based in Okuizumo Town, Shimane Prefecture, named its Nanakamba brand after the legendary racehorse Symboli Rudolf — the first undefeated Triple Crown winner in Japanese thoroughbred history, who went on to claim seven major titles and became known as 'the Emperor.' The brewery was established in 1712, giving it over 300 years of sake-making history in the Oku-Izumo region. Nanakamba is characterized by a light, smooth style with restrained acidity, produced using the cooperative's selected yeast that emphasizes fragrance and a clean, dry finish.
