Named after a beautiful ancestral figure in the founding family's history, Imakomachi is brewed by Nakawashoten in Ikeda, Tokushima, where steep mountain walls on either side of the Yoshino River valley create a cold, water-rich environment ideal for sake production. The brewery produces a deliberately diverse range of styles, from intensely dry to vividly floral, reflecting the varied character of its mountain homeland.
