Denshin, whose name means heart-to-heart, is brewed by Ippongi Kubohonten, a brewery founded in 1902 at the foot of Mount Haku in Fukui Prefecture, where snowmelt water and scenic rice fields define the brewing environment. From the 1960s onward, the brewery adopted Nambu-method brewing techniques to develop a sake profile that is crisp and dry while retaining the savory depth characteristic of Fukui sake. The brewery describes its Denshin as a sake capable of connecting people and communicating from the heart, dry yet juicy, with a finish that fades like a dream.
