了解
吾妻嶺酒造的前身為江戶時代天明元年（1781年）創立的紫波酒造。更早之前的前身「權兵衛酒鋪」在延寶年間（1670年代）釀造出了岩手最早的「清酒」，為這家酒藏日後的發展奠定了基礎。酒造傳承南部杜氏的釀造主流，以每年500石的小批量精心釀造，從備料到完成一絲不苟，以「岩手風格的酒」為目標。

- 1670年代The brewery traces its origin to the 'Gonbei Sakaya' established in Shiwa village (present-day Shiwa-cho, Iwate) by the Omi merchant Murai Gonbei, who first brewed clarified 'Kamigata-style' sake in the Nanbu domain. It is Iwate's oldest sake brewery and the birthplace of the Nanbu toji brewers' guild.
- 平成30年(2018年)Starting with the autumn 2018 brewing season, the brewery discontinued all sake made with added brewing alcohol and declared it would focus exclusively on junmai daiginjo, junmai ginjo, and junmai sake.
