Suginamiki

Suginamiki is made by Iinuma Meijo, founded in 1811 in Tochigi City, Tochigi Prefecture, and named after the famous cedar avenue of Nikko's Reiheishi Kaido road that passes near the brewery. The brewery uses only Tochigi Prefecture-grown rice varieties and the prefecture's own yeast strains, targeting a gentle, dry sake that does not tire the palate. Its brewing water is drawn from deep wells on the brewery grounds, fed by soft water in Tochigi City's western farm district, one of the prefecture's leading rice-growing areas.
