Ritsurin is a brand launched by Kuribayashi Brewing in Misato Town, Akita Prefecture, in collaboration with a group of sake retailers who wanted a clearer expression of the brewery's terroir. More than eighty percent of the brewing rice is Misakinishiki, an Akita-original variety grown in two distinct areas within the town, producing side-by-side bottlings from the same method to highlight how land shapes flavor. The resulting sake is known for its refined, calm profile with a clean finish that pairs naturally with food.
