Naginata is the flagship craft sake of SakeOne, America's first successful craft sake brewery, founded in Forest Grove, Oregon in 1997 through a partnership with Momokawa Brewing of Japan. Brewmaster Takumi Kuwabara produces this junmai daiginjo in strictly limited runs of around 600 bottles per year using 100% Yamada Nishiki rice polished in-house to 40%, and the 2020 release earned a Gold Medal and 94 points from the Beverage Tasting Institute.
