Kanazawa Nakamuraya

Kanazawa Nakamuraya is produced by Nakamura Shuzo, a brewery with roots dating to the early 1800s in Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture, established during the height of samurai culture in one of Japan's most artistically refined cities. The brewery uses sake rice cultivated in the Noto region and draws water from the snowmelt aquifer at the base of Mt. Hakusan, producing sake with an elegant aroma and a light body suited to the delicate flavors of Kanazawa cuisine. Traditional tools and hand-crafted processes rarely seen at modern breweries remain central to production.
