Fumigiku Sake Brewery was founded in Toyama in 1916, and its Haneya brand embodies the desire to exist as sake that lifts the spirits of those who drink it, like wings in flight. Breaking from conventional brewing practices, the current owner decided to apply the exacting standards of daiginjo production across the entire lineup, and introduced year-round brewing to sustain consistent quality. Haneya has won Gold Medals at the International Wine Challenge two years in a row and earned the Platinum Prize at Kura Master 2018.
