- 1788Founded (company profile lists 1788 as the founding year; an old fixture bearing the Tenmei-era characters '天明' was later found in the kura, corroborating brewing activity from that era).
- 2016Won gold medal at the National New Sake Awards (Zenkoku Shinshu Kanpyokai) for the third consecutive year (2014-2016).
- 2017Won the top Daiginjo Trophy in the Daiginjo category at the International Wine Challenge (UK).
- 2018Won the excellence award at the Omachi Summit for the fourth consecutive year (2015-2018).
- 2020Won the Platinum award in the Junmai Daiginjo category at Kura Master (France), and the Emerald Award (top brewery award) at the U.S. National Sake Appraisal.
