Yamakawamitsuo is a seasonal collaboration brand created by four acclaimed Yamagata Prefecture breweries: Mitobe Sake Brewery (Yamagata Masamune), Tatenokawa, Tohoku Izumi (Toko), and Uyo Otokoyama, each contributing a character of its name meaning mountain, river, light, and man. Released four times a year in spring, summer, autumn, and winter editions, the brand operates under the philosophy of Challenge, play, and evolve, with each release exploring different rice and yeast combinations.
