Nakano Sake Brewery Co., Ltd. is based in Handa City, Aichi Prefecture, a city with more than 300 years of brewing culture. The brand name Kunizakari (国盛) was created in 1844 during the Edo period, named with the hope that the country would prosper so that our sake would flourish along with it, and the brewery's creed remains Luxury in Brew, Luxury in Taste. Influenced by Aichi's food culture of bold, full-bodied flavors traditionally paired with akamiso red miso, Kunizakari is characterized by a rich, robust taste, and the brewery operates a Sake Museum open for public tours in Handa.
