Hizenhamashuku

Hizenhamashuku takes its name from the historic sake brewery district of Hizen Hamashuku in Kashima City, Saga Prefecture, a street of well-preserved Edo-period kura that is now recognized as a sake tourism destination. Minematsu Shuzojo, which began production in the early Taisho period, merged operations with Mitsutake Brewery and now runs the Sightseeing Brewery Hizennya, where visitors can compare around 40 types of sake, shochu, and fruit wine. The Hizenhamashuku brand itself is sold primarily at the brewery's own facility, anchoring the local sake identity of this historic brewing town.
