沿革
- 1874Founded in Kusatsu, Omi (present-day Shiga Prefecture).
- 1928Ohta Gomei Kaisha (partnership company) established.
- 1949Tokyo factory built and a sake brewing license obtained.
- 1958Purchased land in Nada, Kobe for a new factory.
- 1963Ohta Shuzou Co., Ltd. (太田酒造株式会社) formally established.
- 1976Ritto factory completed and a fruit-wine production facility added.
- 1989Dohkan-gura (道灌蔵) storehouse completed at the head office.
- 2011New winery completed at the Ritto factory and sparkling wine production began.
