- 1899Enoki Shuzo was founded in the Ondo district of present-day Kure, Hiroshima (Meiji 32).
- 1974The brewery produced Japan's first kijoshu (sweet sake made by fermenting with sake instead of water), in the 1974 brewing year (Showa 49).
- 2001The brewery achieved Hiroshima's first quadruple crown, including gold at the National New Sake Awards, in the Heisei 13 brewing year.
- 2010The 8-year aged kijoshu was named champion at the International Wine Challenge Sake category.
- 2011The 8-year aged kijoshu won gold in the aged sake category at the International Wine Challenge.
- 2017The 8-year aged kijoshu won bronze in the aged sake category at the International Wine Challenge.
- 2008-2024The 8-year aged kijoshu received the trophy in the aged sake category at the International Wine Challenge multiple times (2008, 2010, 2012-2016, 2019-2021, 2023-2024).
