沿革

1. 1781In the early Tenmei era, Tsukano Jozaemon Yoshiteru, the first generation of the Tsukano family, began sake brewing under the name "Kawachiya," marking the origin of Tsukano Shuzo.
2. 1987Koshi Shuzo began brewing as a kura producing only premium designated sake types: daiginjo, ginjo, and junmai.
3. 1988Starting from the 47th Kanto-Shinetsu Regional Taxation Bureau sake competition, the brewery achieved a streak of 17 consecutive awards through the 63rd competition.
4. 1996In November 1996, Tsukano Shuzo and Koshi Shuzo merged to form Koshitsukano Shuzo, beginning production and sales in Mizuhara-Wakeda.
