Miyazaki Sake Brewery, founded in 1866, is located in the Kazusa hills of Chiba Prefecture and has preserved its natural groundwater source, known locally as the Living Waters of Kururi, for over 150 years of continuous brewing. The brewery grows its own rice on farms in Chiba and Hokkaido and mills it on site, channeling that direct farm-to-brewery approach into the Minenosei brand, whose name translates as the essence of the peaks.
