沿革

  1. 1871Founded under the trade name "Hiroshimaya" in Takehara, Hiroshima (Meiji 4).
  2. 19404th-generation head Kiyoma developed the brewery's original apple yeast (Showa 15).
  3. 1948Won 1st place at the National Sake Competition (Showa 23).
  4. 1962First in the industry to sell cask-aged sake bottled (Showa 37).
  5. 1971100th anniversary of the brewery's founding (Showa 46).
  6. 1974Released the apple-yeast sake presented to the Imperial family under the brand name "Maboroshi" (Showa 49).
  7. 2006Held the first "Seikyo Kuradaraki" brewery open day and won gold at the National New Sake Awards (Heisei 18).
  8. 2014Released the company's first bottle-fermented sparkling sake, "Seikyo Junmai Sparkling" (Heisei 26).
