Hamafukutsuru is brewed in the Nada Uozaki district of Hyogo Prefecture by Koyama Honke Shuzo, a member of the prestigious Nada sake-producing region. The brewery operates year-round brewing facilities and focuses on small-batch, handcrafted ginjo production rather than large-scale output, aiming to keep its sake fresh for consumers throughout the year. Its special label Kuzo was born from the rubble of the 1995 Great Hanshin Earthquake, embodying the brewery's resolve to rebuild and continue its craft.
