沿革
- 1887Predecessor Yamazaki Shuzo founded in Asahikawa, Hokkaido.
- 1968Formally inherited the 'Otokoyama' name from the Yamamoto family, head house of 'Momenya'.
- 1977Entered 'Otokoyama Junmai Daiginjo' in Monde Selection and won the world's first gold medal awarded to a sake.
- 1979Began the annual 'Kura Kaihou' brewery-open event held during the brewing season.
- 1984Began full-scale exports to the United States; now exports to over 20 countries.
