沿革
- 1603Founded in Keicho 8 (1603) by a retainer of the Satake clan who governed Kuji-gun in Hitachi Province, applying miso and soy sauce production techniques to begin sake brewing.
- 2011After the March 11, 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake damaged the brewery, a roof tile being repaired was found stamped with the brewery's old trade name mark "Kamimaru," inspiring the launch of the new Kamimaru brand as a symbol of the brewery's fresh start.
