Mii no Kotobuki, brewed by Miinokotobuki Co., Ltd. in Mii County, Fukuoka Prefecture since the Taisho era, is best known to many through the manga and film Slam Dunk, whose character Mitsui Hisashi shares his name with the brand. Brewed with the motto of science, sense, and passion, the sake draws on subterranean water from the Koshibaru River and Fukuoka-grown Yamadanishiki, producing a food-friendly style defined by firm acidity and clean finish.
