沿革
- 1697The 5th-generation Zenroku Yagi began brewing sake, marking the origin of the brewery's sake-making tradition.
- 1900The 13th-generation Waichi Yagi brewed the sake 'Fuyu no Hana' (Winter Flower).
- 1936Yagi Shuzo and Komatsu Shuzo merged to form Kubiki Shuzo Co., Ltd., and began brewing the sake 'Kubiki'.
- 1972A new brewery building was added.
- 1983The brewery began brewing the sake 'Koshiji no Kobai'.
- 1995A new bottling plant was established.
- 2010Won first place at the Niigata Prefecture Sake Brewery Employees' Association's self-brewed sake competition, among 91 entrant breweries.
- 2014Launched the Niigata-exclusive brand 'Hakkeikubiki'.
