木屋正酒造創立於1818年，位於連接奈良、京都至伊勢神宮的初瀨街道沿線，伊賀盆地海拔150米，是自古以來的優質米產地，木津川水系的地下水純淨豐沛。2004年第六代傳人西藏大之回藏後，以禪宗「只此一刻，隨心而活」的理念命名了新品牌「而今」，追求不被過去與未來束縛的釀酒之道。

沿革
- 1818Founded in the Bunsei era on the old Hase-kaido road; the family, originally timber merchants, had moved from Imabari with the Todo clan in the early Edo period.
- 2005The 6th-generation owner brewed sake as head brewer for the first time and named it Jikon.
- 2018Marking the 200th anniversary, the brewery attempted kimoto brewing for the first time and revived the Takasago brand with the new method.
