Gold Drop Sake Brewery is located almost in the center of Hokkaido, at the northern end of Kabado -gun, and is a bosom that is held in the pocket of the Ryogawa River, the mother of Hokkaido, and the Pinnesiri, which worships the mountains of God. The Pinne district here is the main producing area of Hokkaido rice, and the water in which the water, which is referred to as another life of sake, originates in the Pinnesiri Mountains, and the rich snowwoods create a flow. 연혁
- 1889A great flood devastated Totsukawa Village, Nara Prefecture. Naoichi Nishimura, later a founding director of Kinteki, persuaded villagers to resettle in Hokkaido.
- 1906On September 10, 1906, Naoichi Nishimura, Isaburo Ujigawa and 7 others founded Shin-Totsukawa Sake Brewing Co., Ltd., initially selling sake under the names Toppugawa and Hananoshizuku.
- 1918In 1918, managing director Isaburo Ujigawa coined the name 'Kinteki' (drop of gold) inspired by the Sakingawa River, and began selling sake under the Kinteki, Ginteki and Hananoshizuku labels.
- 1932In 1932, a fire starting in the brewery workers' dormitory destroyed roughly 240 tsubo of the boiler room, storage and brewing buildings; reconstruction was completed that October.
- 1936In 1936, marking its 30th anniversary, the brewery increased production to 894 koku and raised capital to 60,000 yen.
- 1951In November 1951, the company was renamed to its current name, Kinteki Shuzo Co., Ltd.
- 1956In 1956, the brewery held a ceremony marking its 50th anniversary.
