沿革

  1. 1839Founded as Hakuryu Shuzo in 1839 (Tenpo 10), a branch of a shipping merchant family trading with Hokkaido via Kitamaebune ships.
  2. 1910The "Hakuryu" trademark was registered with the Japan Patent Office (registration No. 39587).
  3. 1994Began winning Gold Awards at Monde Selection (32 consecutive years since).
  4. 1997"Daiginjo Hakuryu" won the Grand Gold Quality Award at Monde Selection.
  5. 1998"Tokusen Daiginjo Sasaya Mozaemon" entered Monde Selection for the first time, winning Gold for 28 consecutive years since.
  6. 2002"Junmai Daiginjo Hakuryu" won the Grand Gold Quality Award at Monde Selection.
  7. 2018Received a commemorative trademark continuation certificate from the Japan Patent Office as part of the Meiji 150th anniversary program.
  8. 2022"Daiginjo Hakuryu" again won the Grand Gold Quality Award at Monde Selection (also in 2024).
