沿革
- 1806Gyokusendo Shuzo was founded in Yoro, Gifu Prefecture, a region famed for its ultra-soft natural spring water used as brewing water.
- 1989-1992Won the gold award at Japan's New Sake Appraisal Fair for four consecutive years; since the 2000s the brewery has deliberately stopped entering competitions to focus on the quality of sake actually delivered to customers.
- 1994Joined 'Frontier Tojo 21,' a consortium of breweries formed in 1994 committed to brewing with premium-grade Yamada Nishiki rice from the Tojo district of Kato City, Hyogo Prefecture.
- 2025Junmai Daiginjo 'Gyoku' won the Platinum Award at the Luxembourg Sake Challenge (announced June 17, 2025).
- 2025'Reisen Natsu-gin' (summer ginjo) was featured in the sake magazine Dancyu Vol. 2 (July 29, 2025).
- 2026'Reisen Junmai Daiginjo Tokuto Yamadanishiki' was served in JAL's First Class Lounge (March to end of May 2026).
