Sake Brand

Azumanada

Azumanada Jozo was established in 1867 in Katsura, a skipjack tuna fishing port on the Boso Peninsula of Chiba Prefecture, roughly 200 meters from the Pacific coast. The brand name means the eastern counterpart of Nada, paying homage to the famous western sake region while asserting its own coastal identity. Operating as a small brewery of about 200 koku, Azumanada focuses on handcrafted production, with sake designed to complement the seafood cuisine of the surrounding sea.
