Makino Shuzo's honjozo genshu is a full-strength, undiluted expression of the brewery's classic honjozo, retaining the richer texture and deeper flavor intensity that water dilution would otherwise soften. Gunma's oldest brewery, founded in 1690, applies its centuries of technique to this bold format, delivering concentrated rice character, a warming presence on the palate, and a robust, dry finish. Excellent served on the rocks or with a small splash of water to taste.
