沿革
- 1868Gisuke Toyosawa founded a sake wholesale business in Tamatsukuri, Osaka.
- 1887The company expanded into sake brewing, starting operations in Nada, Fushimi, Nara, Sennan-Ozaki, and Satosho.
- 1935The second-generation head, Gisaburo, relocated the brewery to its current site in Imaichi-cho.
- 1955The family business was reorganized and incorporated as Nara Toyosawa Shuzo Co., Ltd.
- 1979Yasuo, who later became the fourth-generation head, met master brewer Tadaharu Fujisawa of Tajima and invited him to join the brewery.
- 1990"Daiginjo Houshuku" won a gold medal at the National New Sake Awards, the first of five consecutive years.
- 1992The "Houshuku-kai" fan club was founded at the suggestion of supporters, to share the award-winning sake with enthusiasts.
- 2023"Daiginjo Houshuku" won its 16th gold medal at the National New Sake Awards in the 2023 fiscal year.
