  1. 1788Founded (company profile lists 1788 as the founding year; an old fixture bearing the Tenmei-era characters '天明' was later found in the kura, corroborating brewing activity from that era).
  2. 2016Won gold medal at the National New Sake Awards (Zenkoku Shinshu Kanpyokai) for the third consecutive year (2014-2016).
  3. 2017Won the top Daiginjo Trophy in the Daiginjo category at the International Wine Challenge (UK).
  4. 2018Won the excellence award at the Omachi Summit for the fourth consecutive year (2015-2018).
  5. 2020Won the Platinum award in the Junmai Daiginjo category at Kura Master (France), and the Emerald Award (top brewery award) at the U.S. National Sake Appraisal.
  6. 2021Won the top Koshu Trophy in the aged sake (koshu) category at the International Wine Challenge (UK).
