- 1703Founded as a sake brewery in Takayama's old town district (company overview page states the founding date as April 1, 1703).
- 2009年9月The Arisu Group took over Funasaka Shuzo, launching a new management structure.
- 2013年12月A new brewery factory adjacent to the historic shop was completed and began operation.
- 2014年5月Began exporting sake overseas for the first time.
- 2017年5月"Daiginjo Yotsuboshi" won a gold medal at the National New Sake Awards.
- 2017年9月"Tokubetsu Junmai Miyamagiku" received Kosher certification, the first sake brewery in the Tokai region to do so.
- 2019年5月"Daiginjo Miyamagiku" was selected as the toast sake for the Michelin Guide Aichi/Gifu/Mie 2019 special edition reception.
- 2022年4月Announced the opening of "Hida Takayama Distillery," Gifu Prefecture's first dedicated whisky distillery, built on the site of a former school.
