Founded in 1875 in Ogi City, Saga Prefecture, Tenzan Sake Brewery draws water from the Tenzan mountain system and sources approximately 90% of its sake rice from Saga Prefecture farms. The sixth-generation master brewer embodies the dual philosophy of fuseki ryuko, preserving what must not change while adapting to the times, and wa-jo ryo-shu, the belief that harmony creates good sake. The flagship Tenzan brand, alongside the celebrated Shichida range, has earned recognition at both domestic and international competitions for its rich umami and well-balanced acidity.
