Sansha Kinin Josen Karakuchi is the dry variant within the Kinin (Gold Benevolence) tier of Harada Brewery in Takayama, Gifu, offering a more assertive dryness compared to the standard Kinin Josen. The brewery, established in 1855, uses Hida Homare and Miyama Nishiki rice grown in the Hida highlands alongside the cold, clear water of the Hida mountains. A clean, sharp finish and full-bodied character reflect the traditional Hida cold-winter brewing style.
