沿革

  1. 1689Founded in 1689 (Genroku 2) by Suzuki Matsuemon in Nagano village, present-day Daisen City, Akita.
  2. 1745In 1745, a chief retainer of the Satake-Kita family stayed at the brewery during a snipe-hunting trip.
  3. 1751Around 1751, the brewery's sake was singled out at a domain-wide tasting and the lord ordered it be named "Hideyoshi".
  4. 1848In 1848, designated as the official sake supplier to the Akita Satake domain.
  5. 1865In 1865, invited the sake brewing expert Hoshino Tomoshichi to improve brewing techniques.
  6. 1939In 1939, held a ceremony marking the brewery's 250th anniversary.
  7. 1999In 1999, marked the brewery's 310th anniversary.
  8. 2020In 2020, the brewery buildings were registered as a tangible cultural property.
