- 1785Founded in the 5th year of the Tenmei era; purchased a sake brewing license and commenced production.
- 1977In the 52nd year of the Showa era, Juhachi Zakari Shuzo Co., Ltd. was established.
- 1984From the 59th year of the Showa era, began production of the shochu "Setokko", including the oak-cask-aged shochu "Tokijiro".
- 2012In 2012, a new toji (master brewer) took over.
