花盛酒造所在的岐阜縣八百津町地處木曾川中游流域，是江戶時代至大正年間河運船隻的終點港町，各地物資在此匯聚，曾是繁華的水運商業重鎮。如今雖河運已絕，但山紫水明的自然風光被列入飛驒木曾川國定公園，吸引各地遊客前來觀光。得益於八百津町豐富的歷史積澱與優質的伏流水，各種釀造業在此興盛，酒藏於1886年（明治19年）創立，彼時八百津町正是物資流通的重要樞紐。

- 1886Hanazakari Shuzo was founded in Yaotsu, along the middle reaches of the Kiso River in Gifu Prefecture.
- 2008The brewery's ginjo-grade sake received the Renmeikaicho Award in the ginjo category at the Gifu Prefecture New Sake Fair.
- 2009The brewery won the Renmeikaicho Award in both the ginjo and junmai categories at the Gifu Prefecture New Sake Fair.
- 2010The brewery received the Renmeikaicho Award in the ginjo category at the Gifu Prefecture New Sake Fair.
- 2012The brewery's junmai sake won the Gifu Prefectural Assembly Chairman's Award at the Gifu Prefecture New Sake Fair.
- 2015Hanazakari's junmai sake received the Gifu Governor's Award, the top prize at the Gifu Prefecture New Sake Fair.
- 2016The brewery earned an award at the National New Sake Fair (Zenkoku Shinshu Kanpyokai).
