후쿠미쓰야는 1625년(간에이 2년)에 창업한 가나자와에서 가장 오랜 역사를 자랑하는 양조장입니다. 영봉 하쿠산 기슭에서 100년 이상 이어온 전통 양조 기술과 1960년부터 계약 재배를 시작한 쌀, 그리고 진화를 거듭해온 명수를 바탕으로 술을 빚고 있습니다. 1959년부터 장기 숙성 사케 연구를 시작했으며, 현재는 오랜 세월 쌓아온 쌀 발효 기술을 활용해 화장품 및 식품 개발, 직영점 운영, 해외 수출 등을 통해 일본 문화로서의 일본주 보급에도 힘쓰고 있습니다.
