Kiyasho Shuzo

Mie
Kiya Shuzo Sake Brewery was founded in 1818 on the Hatsuse Kaido connecting Nara and Kyoto to Ise Jingu Shrine. The ancestors are reported to have moved from Imabari to the Todo family in the early Edo period. He had a shop name of Kiya Sho because he was originally a wooden trader. The Iga Basin is 150m above sea level, located at the center of the Kii Peninsula. The precipitation was stable and the temperature difference between the morning and evening was large, so it has long been a famous rice production area for rice. At the top of the Kizugawa water system that joins the Yodo River, the underground water of the Nabari River is pure and blessed with water. Meanwhile, the sixth -generation Yuki Onishi returned to the storehouse and named the sake that he prepared as a forest in 2004 as "Jikon". It is a word based on the fact of the Zen sect, "I can just live as much as I want to be bound by the past or the future."
