Description
This 1984 vintage umeshu combines Fukui Prefecture Benisashi plums and rock sugar with aged sake from the same year. Room-temperature maturation in the earthen-walled Gifu storehouse, supplied with soft subterranean water from the Mujigawa River, shapes the base koshu into a smooth, rounded spirit that melds with the plum fruit over time.
