简介
Benisashi plums from Fukui Prefecture and rock sugar are combined with 2003-vintage aged sake to produce this koshu umeshu. Long maturation of the base sake at room temperature in the Gifu storehouse forms a smooth, full-bodied foundation for the plum fruit, yielding a liqueur substantial enough to drink neat or over ice.
