Description
Made with Benisashi plums from Fukui Prefecture and rock sugar steeped in 2000-vintage aged sake, this umeshu reflects the brewery's long-standing practice of using its own koshu as the base spirit. Room-temperature maturation over years blends the sweetness of the aged sake with the fruit's natural tartness into a dense, mellow liqueur.
